This is to announce the intent of the Steering Committee to conduct a community-wide public meeting to discuss the project, how it should be structured, and the best way to proceed in attempting to create a productive environment.
This meeting will be a chance for all interested to be heard regarding matters specifically related to project management. Issues related to architecture, the DNIR, ideological concerns, security, or any other topic shall be saved for a later date.
The meeting will be held via IRC on undernet, in the #okopipi channel. Undernet does not reject Torified IRC clients, so if you would like to retain anonymity, you can install Tor and Privoxy and set up your IRC client to connect using a SOCKS5 proxy at 127.0.0.1:9050. You may experience some lag, however.
The reason this message is here instead of in the announce group is that we don't have a date or time, yet. This thread is your chance to tell us when you would like the meeting to be held.
Please limit your discussion to the topic of date and time!
Thank you, and We'll see you in #okopipi soon!

Sounds like an awesome idea.
Sounds like an awesome idea. Personally, almost any weekend time is good, preferably Sundays, but I can't speak for everyone. I do assume, however, that most people will have a considerably larger amount of free time on the weekends than any other time.
Also, be sure to plan it at a time that works for most time zones. In example, planning it at noon in GMT would do no good to people whose time zone is GMT -0800 (using my own zone as an example).
Will this meeting be for discussing/deciding everything down from the definite use of P2P, or are there already some ideas that are set in place?
